It started with how she spoke to him.
Justin Harrison is a filmmaker and the founder and CEO of YOV. The company began during the hardest stretch of his life. After a near-fatal motorcycle accident, and as his mother faced terminal cancer, he realized what he most wanted to keep was not a record of facts. It was how she spoke to him: her humor, her worry, her particular way of checking in.
Reading years of their messages, he saw how consistent that voice was, and how different it was from the way she spoke to anyone else. Every relationship, he concluded, holds its own version of a person.
